No, I was just whinning. You should make a nest box for them. I used a plastic office desk basket with wood chips in it, it will work. I can send it if you want it. They are a 2.99
Wal-Mart thing.
ETA: I did get a call from a guy in MO a few days ago looking for MY eggs! Are the birds in IA or PA?
All the birds are in Pa. We rented a U-haul and put them all in the back, in a rabbit hutch I had and in a crate we got that was bigger.
Well, I want to get them out of the rabbit hutch, and Jerrit was supposed to start making a coop for the Ia blues too - since they are eating layer feed with the hens now and I don't want them to have that yet..but he is slow! and I would do it if the thing he wants to use wasn't metal lol.
What about the person in MO? They wanted some Buttercup eggs? I was wondering if you still had buttercups or if we took the last ones you had.
OOh I want to know if you still have Vorwerks too! Or if you don't good breeders to get eggs from
Would you tell that boy to stop social networking, get off his keyboard, p/u a hammer and nails and take care of my former birds! Where indeed are his priorities??? He will not get a postcard from the Keys at this rate! Yes, the guy wanted Buttercup eggs. No I have no more Buttercups so I had to send him elsewhere. I do have a pair of month old chicks and I think it will be a pair too! Yes, I did p/u another pair of Vorwerks last fall and have 4 chicks. Like all the rest, she quit laying. She also is a biter! He is very shy but she comes right to the front and tries to make salisbury steak out of my hand! 2 of the chicks are proper and 2 are odd colored like I have never seen with my other Vorwerk chicks.
