Shabbyfarms called them - it starts at 9 am and if you want to sell poultry they have to have their p/t test done.
Ok, sounds great. I hope I get to go. What is a p/t test and where do I get it?
p/test = pullorum test and there will be a tester on site, small fee per bird. I received a flyer on this sale in the mail today and as soon as i can get it scanned, (read as tomorrow at work where i have access to a scanner), will post .
Ok now the real truth I buy the cochins from a lady in minnesota and she seems to have a real good handle on the type and color. http://bluffcountryshetlandsandbackyardchickens.com/
I hope to have chicks soon i candled tonight and we have growth. Her wyandottes are awesome too those are the only 2 breeds she has.
Great news! I candled the Key West eggs and have at least 18 growing! There may be a few more but not sure at this point. I am glad I did not start sorting. A few more days should give me an excellent count. Some are begining to vein and a few have little swimmers in them! I am very relieved by the count.

I have 4 doz. to either hatch or pitch! This weather has been so chaotic that the hatches have not been normal and care is critical etc... The local farm store has chicks in now too.
