Hey Eric... I ended up going a full week over my due date. Barely got out of the hospital this last friday afternoon. I missed New Ulm this weekend too.
Dirt eatin? We are just starting to see a few bare spots in the fields finally. Now they are talking 8-10" of snow for us tomorrow. Yuckkk
To anyone that may have come to the New Ulm swap on sunday.... Sorry that the gates were late opening. One of our main guys went in to the Mankato hospital with a heart attack. Please keep Al Christle in your prayers. He's been active in both the pigeons and poultry for well over 50 years.
Hi Steph! So, did you get your excess birds sold? Not much new up here but I think I have a Delaware girl thats wants to be broody. I find her iin the box, sitting, when i reach in to pet her she screams and gives me a gentle peck or two. I usually give her an egg to sit on. She was in the box tonight so we'll see if she is still there tomorrow am and if she stays.
I will have to add a pic of the Key West chicks. A much smaller hatch than I had hoped but they are cute like all of them.
Eric
So steph how's your week going? Hopefully little drama.
Tj is planning to get boat thus weekend if that's ok with you. I'll have to remind him he'll work this weekend.
Lost another hen to my dane. He's playing with them to death. Can't get to made at him though the chickens are going into the dog run.
Does anyone on this thread have any hens/pullets for sale? I get a lot of requests for them through our website. I can send them your way. Just send me a pm.
Was going through photo's for my dad's funeral and look! Now I know why I want a horse! This is my and my brother on my great uncle's horse (pony) with MY grandpa holding it. It made me smile - I had forgotten about this picture.
