Well, yesterday when we checked on the birds. One buttercup got herself stuck behind/under the hutch..didn't look good. And today her tail is still down and too the side, she isn't limping anymore..wouldn't have happened if someone had listened to me and put the birds back to how they were. :\\ She had gone back there to lay an egg.

Well i found a blue egg in one of the nest box yesterday and couldn't figure out who it came from,it was bantie size and she is the only bantie in with all the big chickens so i thought it was her that layed it.the comb is really small.don't know what to do with her?i don't have anything to pair her up with.

I'd be happy to take her back. I can pay or trade something. Are you in a hurry to move her? My wife would love to mhave her.

No big hurry, she just wonders around the yard like she's a big chicken.she sleeps with the big chickens also.i have all my bantie's caged and all paired up so she is the only little chicken that doesn't have a boyfriend.i would trade for something if you want to.Mike

I hope she is okay. She is probably sore from struggling to free herself. Do you think the egg broke inside her?

It's actually good timing. her mom is hardly laying any more. They do that as they get older. she almost looks like a New Hampshire but, I know exactly what she is!

Here's her mother when she was just a start, having a dust bath.
