Just got an email from the hatchery, my turkey eggs have been shipped!! I have the incubator warming up and I am so excited!

Put in 18 hatching eggs this week that were shipped!! Not really sure how things are going to turn out, but its still fun!!

Mix of White Midget. Red Bourbon. Blue Slate. and Royal Palm. We have raised turkeys before but haven't hatched the eggs!

Haven't started the incubator yet, but the longer I hang out on this site, I am starting to get the itch. That is the first real sign of spring --- incubating, and the first pip!!! Good luck to all of you starting the hatch...so much fun.

My coturnix quail hatched! I got a 100% hatch rate I never had that happen ever!! so excited and owe a big Thank you to these forums. I've learned so much here on BYC.

Good for you love2hatch!! 100%, I have only done that once, and it was on eggs shipped from GA!!!! From a fellow BYCer. It is a great feeling. Congrats.

Does anyone have any Rhode Island Red or Orpington hatching eggs? I'm looking to swap 12 of my newly hatched quail for some hatching eggs. But I would like them before the Easter hatch along starts.
I would post in the buy sell trade forum but I don't know how to do this to get a lot of people looking and only in the central Iowa area to do a swap. I thought about putting it on craigslist, but I'm not sure if I can post on their and in BYC at the same time? I wasn't clear on the rules does anyone ele know?
