I put the 5 "garage chickens" back out yesterday. The EE pullet took a real beating from the rest of the flock. The made her a little bald on top of her head

Jet also got pecked several times. She used to be one of the flock matriarchs - not anymore. But I am guessing she will work her way back up.

Caught Blu trying to mate with my marans and olive eggers again. They don't respect him yet. I told him if he would just share the treats rather than gobbling them all up himself, he might have better luck. I did see him a couple of days ago with the white EE. He had his way with her and then just sat on her until I spooked him off.

I think I need to send him to a finishing school or something so he can learn some manners.
 
I can see the snow melting as I sit here on the computer .Went to the farm this morning , it was just great out. I can't wait until thursday, talking 50
 
Yay tomorrow is Monday. I know a goat not a chicken but I love them equally. Gave a friends son an EE roo for his birthday. Was a huge hit. Think I got more ppl addicted also sold 4 doz eggs. Good birthdayParty.
