How are the Orloff chicks doing? I lost one of the two Buttercup chicks we had, while gone. (I think he was a Brooster Jr.).

The survivor appears to be a girl, bossy like her Moms or should I say - determined? No, bossy, she is mean to other chicks. Have heard nothing nor seen anything of the crate.

The orloffs are doing good. They manage to make all their feed disappear fast now. They seem to be completely feathered now. We have 5 eggs in the bator right now from the buttercups. 1 is a day behind though, so it is on day 18 and the others are on day 19 now.
Darn crate :\\ I haven't heard anything from my grandma about it. Guess I will email and have her contact the PO and see what's going on..again.
I saw one buttercup hen dusting herself in the shavings today lol..oh I want spring already so we can have the birds outside. Although we have to figure where and how to keep them seperate.

Eric, I know that Troy dose have 2 buttercup roos and one pullet. I am sure he would part with one roo for you. I haven't figured out to post pics , but did take alot this weekend at the farm. Anyone going to New Ulm march 20th?

On the top blue bar, the same one you use to log in and out. There is a button that says "Uploads". Click that. Hit browse and find a pic you want to upload, you can choose to resize it too if you want, but you don't have to. When it finishes it will show the photo and 2 links under it. Copy the Image code and paste it into your post.

I just use photobucket.com- I can download more pictures that way.

Visited Dad today - he was out of bed and had done some physical therapy. I asked him if there was anything I could bring him. He said he was on a low salt clear diet for now and wondered if a beer would fit into that

He seemed a whole different person than from yesterday or the two weeks before that.

There is an auction on March 20th down in Osceola also. I might go to that one.
