IA (incubators anonymous) September Hatches?

Pics
Do they lay pretty well?

I only have 2 full grown ones, but they lay about 5 days a week. They are moulting now.

anyone going to be hatching in October?

I am on day 5 now, so I will be hatching 15 or 16 LF Polish eggs. I bought 12, she sent 18 (I love her) and I candled today and 2 are not fertile, one might be starting the red ring, and the other 15 are well veined. I love Bonnie's eggs! I hope to get more tolbunt hens to breed. I have 5 tolbunt eggs!!

Four of my white leghorn eggs hatched about a week ago.

My hen (who always seems to start sitting on eggs when I put some in the incubator) hatched out seven of her eggs. They are all cochin mixes. I know some are part easter egger, some are part barred rock, and some are part RIR. The eighth busted at some point and she (or someone else) ate most of it. Another was slightly cracked around day 10 but I fixed it with crayon wax and it is now a happy and healthy chick. :)

Congrats! So cute! :love
Just on day 8, here. :pop
I get home from work too late to start anything outside, so once I take care of the chicks I have I struggle to leave the incubator alone, lol. I candle from the top, without removing the eggs, but I am going stir crazy, lol. Saturday, day 10, I will candle and probably remove the 2 EEs (duds, or early quitters), and one of the Blue Star egg looks like it is forming a blood ring. The other 6 BSs, and all 3 LBs still look good! :fl

This was hatch day which came a day early, you can see my incubator cage on the left which I use verify which chicks came from which egg. In this case the Ayam Cemanis and the Meat Cemanis are easy to identify by a slight comb color difference and the Hybrids did start growing and feathering slightly faster so I could put them in the same Brooder.

That would be nice! How bad was your cockerel ratio? My hatch before this one is at 12 out of 17 cockerels...I'm REALLY hoping there are no late bloomers. There are 8 more (25 total) that I can't sex for sure yet.
Some days I really wish birds were like many reptiles and gender can be controlled with incubation temperatures :barnie
