Yay!!! Congrats!

One of my eggs hatched today. I'm super excited. So out my last four I have one hatch. Looks like another is on its way. Super happy that my son was home when it happened his excitement was overjoying.

I *think* I found a non-crazy person (hopefully ) with some quail chicks! My husband is supposed to meet them Saturday! Their chicks are less than a week older than my one, so hopefully they'll get along!

anyone going to be hatching in October? I just cleaned my incubator and the shipped eggs I received yesterday are settling down in my climate controlled room. Probably going to start them on Saturday.

I'm expecting a couple of eggs early on in October due to staggered hatching. They will be from a different pair of Oriental Gamefowl than the one's I've already hatched so I'm excited to see how they come out!

I will be setting eggs tomorrow. As my last ones just hatched. Hoping for a higher rate of hatch this next time.

My next hatch will have Ayam Cemanis I got from Shadygrove Farm in West Virginia, and from my own collection I will have Maran Sex Links (black copper marans over Cuckoo Marans) , Red Pyle Old English Game Bantams, and Serama eggs. I would have more variety if it wasn't for so many dog attacks this summer.
