IBBS color differences (10 week update)

I told myself I would not ask about gender with them only being 10 weeks but now I am curious about thoughts on the differences in color/pattern. Morpheus (the chick with less black on him/her and has a crest) doesn't have the black wing feathers like Neo (no crest) does. Both have no markings on the chest and back look fairly similar. I am hoping that I have one of each (both siblings).

Thoughts and observations?

They are both hens, the one with no crest is Pied.

Really? Wow…that pied part snuck in for sure. I take it that IBBS boys change color earlier than 10 weeks? (of my four that will put us at 1 wild type male, 2 hens and a (tbd) white who we think is hen.)

I am so glad they are hens. Even though I discouraged it they have bonded tightly to me…. I was worried about one or both being males.

You are welcome. The color is one indicator but the best indicator is the darts on the black feathers on the saddle and wings.
