Good job Daron!

I have to go to bed. My head is spinning trying to fix some stuff on my blog. I have a favor to ask. If anyone has a minute could you pop over to my blog and take the Dead or Alive quiz? I got picked up recently by the BlogPaws/BlogHer Publishing Network and I want to look good! There is also a video of the flock of Canada geese mating in our pond.

Now back to our regularly scheduled silliness.

Mary, I don't know if you're still looking for emus but there was someone selling one for $50 here in the Bay Area, I think they're unsure of gender though.

Off to go read your blog now, it's always fascinating.

He does live in Arizona. HEBER, Arizona... snow and Icicles from November thru March, paradise from March thru October.
The perfect place to raise Icelandics.
You should GoogleEarth it.

Daron - geez, heck of a time just catching a few Icelandics, eh?

Glad your trip went well otherwise. You'll certainly have plenty of roosters to choose from!

Shawn - I hope that barn gets finished quick! And may your animals be predator safe. I think a Mountain Lion would have to be pretty hungry to take a chicken - your goats however, are another story. Be careful, especially at dawn and dusk. We have them around us, our neighbors dog went up against one a couple years ago - she was growling and had her hackles up, and then chased it away. Every so often we hear of a sighting nearby.

I also have lions in the area, some black bears and the occasional moose wandering through, I do need a dog, thinking of a blue heeler or aussie.

When I am away the goats are locked up. trying to get the shed done, snow forcast for sunday and more during the week, tis the season. The Icelandics are snug in their abode but want to get them into the bigger shed asap.

Right now the purrkids are battling across my mocasined foot.
