Icelandic Chickens

I still haven't finished reading all of this thread but I am totally intrigued with these chickens. I am hoping that after hubby finishes school and we get settled somewhere I am able to get some! I love love love the unique coloring of them all, gorgeous! Thanks or all the work everyone is doing to keep them as this unique breed!

I just don't get it.... a while back I promised some eggs to Farmerboy then the Icelandics quit laying. They start back up, and two days ago someone asked me to hatch some for them. Yay, I can try out my new incubator.... but the Icelandics haven't laid in two days

well, of my 27 living chicks from the NYD Hatch, at least 16 are Icelandics. WAHOO.
I may have two more hatch that are pipped but one is an EE from my coop and the other is an Ameraucana.
