Mary, first 3 out, 2 more are pipping. I can't believe all the different colors you have in your flock of Icelandics. I'm really sorry to hear about your troubles with your neighbor. I hope it gets resolved to YOUR satisfaction. He obviously has no respect for your property or livestock.
Here's a pic of the first 3 to cheer you up. Thank you again.

Great, Bob ! ! You have a variety pack, I see! I can hardly wait to see your next ones hatched! Isn't it so much fun, seeing such variety?

Be careful of that light one ..... it can easily be mistaken for a Delaware!

KathyinMo, I figure if I let them run around with the others till they grow up I'll need to get leg bands for them. There is no way I'd be able to tell them from the rest of the flock with the variety and mixed breeds I have. I'm going to keep them in a separate brooder for a while till i decide what to do. Obviously I need to keep them segregated if I'll be providing eggs to anyone, or hatching them, (hatch eggs? ME? Never!)

Bob, they are beautiful! I am so happy you got a few. I hope the new coop, free ranging, and reduction of the roo population will mean increased fertility when they start laying again. Keep the pics coming!

Mahonri, sorry to hear about the chipmunk. That's our favorite coloring of chicks.
It looks like the next one out is going to be black. Can't tell on the one after that yet.
