CockerelThe seven Icelandics from our first hatch this year are six and a half weeks old. Fairly certain that 3 are boys and 3 are girls.
Have been undecided on this one, but now I think it is a boy. Just starting to be able to see wattles and a little more color. Anyone with more experience want to confirm this?

You have two options, clip the wings only if it will make sure the birds will remain inside and away from predators. Don't clip the wings if the birds are going to be exposed to predators and they potentially need to be able to fly to safety.I am getting conflicting information concerning wing clipping.
Because of the Predator in my area now, I am scared to let my chickens out of the fenced area so they can browse the grassy parts of the lawn, so I began clipping wings. I do it on both sides because I was told clipping one wing can throw them off balance and cause injury when coming down off of high roost bars, which I have; others tell me that's the reason they only clip one wing, it throws them off balance and they can't get the height.
Seeing flying is one of the only means of escaping a predator, I wonder if I should clip at all.
For now my Icees are in a chicken tractor, which is INSIDE my fenced run till they know where "home" is and for protection from the predator.
I do have a couple chickens that are still getting up and over the fence because they like to lay eggs in the Hostas!!

When clipping wings, you only do one side. If you clip both sides the birds will learn to adjust and still be able to fly. By only clipping one side, they are thrown off balance from being able to get off the ground.
Have you talked to your neighbor about their dog and making sure it stays home? Sorry about your loss of birds.
