I am indeed picking up Icelandic eggies tomorrow *as she does a little dance* !! The very well behaved quartet of hens has graciously laid 8 eggs for me! BTW, AKMichelle what brought you to East Granby? It's a long way from AK!
I pray I'm as lucky as Andy, but with my bator stacked, I will of course candle day 10 and 18.... so if the post office messed some up, I'll make room in the trays for others. The thing that bothered me the most is, kathy had the best packaged eggs I think I've ever seen and yet one of the eggs on a corner of one of her cartons was cracked and you could see that the package had been dropped on that corner also. I'm praying for no detached air cells.
I'm thinking about upping my humidity a bit if he is keeping it at 52%.
I've always kept mine around 35% and I've had decent hatches.
Wow...100% on shipped eggs. Andy you and Mary are amazing.

Now off to plan the new coop...
The very best friend a girl could have lives in Beacon Falls
Funny, considering she was IN FRONT of me when she went into the chick room. I did look at the comb and the legs though to try to help her get a girl. I have the will power that Mary doesn't have. I didn't walk out with any chicks. Not even the blue swedish duck I've been eyeing.
And they didn't even give me my 10% off - I'll be going back next week for my $9.
