We're city people. No guns. Well, Michael has BB gun. Emus are growing like weeds but so far not attitude. They just want to be with me all the time. Perhaps they are spoiled.
Sorry you didn't get more chicks.
I can send more eggs with my better packing method.
Want your trap back? Don't mind the skunk smell.
(at least it's not on me anymore)
And BULL-O-NEY...........those emu have attitude, just not towards you! They are cute in their attitude though!

An electric fence indeed with a battery backup, around the bottom for dogs and around the top for unwanted petters with pets....
My Grandfather used a bb pistol on dogs and cats in the city,it just scared them, but they stayed at bay,or at least he says they did
Happy Chooks, that trap with the skunk smell will be way more attractive to predators, once it weakens abit, and if you haven't caught that fox yet,a live bait box with a live chicken can do the trick at times when nothing else will work....Gland Lures can be usfull aswell...

No argument to be at the top of the pecking order this way..
Still no package from MO...
Maybe next time Kathy can send them in an envelope via carrier pigeon...
Dang it!
I have eggs in the incubator. If you would like, I can just ship you a few chicks.
Right now I'd be scared to ship chicks.. they wouldn't have survived this trip... I may take you up on the chick offer later though... maybe I'll get lucky and your eggs will have been kept at a constant 99.5 the last week and they'll all hatch before the ones from Mary!!
Anna had two little ones peeking out from under her tonight!!! I saw an egg when she raised up for one of them to go back under, so she's not done!! Pics tomorrow!! I'll be gone Thur-Sun night .....
