OH! I am so glad the little goat was just sunning himself!

I just this minute came inside, again. It is 100* out and I am sweating like crazy. A lady from the place I used to work called today. She and her husband have looked online to build a chicken coop. They ended up here, on BYC. She told me about how hard they worked building a secure coop and run. Such a nice nice lady. I hope she registers and begins posting. I told her about this thread. They have not had chickens before, and are very interested in these. The variety was appealing, as well.

Anyway, reluctantly, I did it................. I gave her the 28 Icelandic chicks, with little Stella. In true Stella fashion, she jumped out of the box. I had just moved them all outside into their new little coop and pen. Well, now it will await new chicks from Mary's eggs.

That is exactly what I am gonna do! Tomorrow I am moving her into a broody pen and will put some of those eggs! She can break in the Icelandic coop I had the other babies in. Oh, dear Lord, PLEASE no more broodies!
