That is exactly what I am gonna do! Tomorrow I am moving her into a broody pen and will put some of those eggs! She can break in the Icelandic coop I had the other babies in. Oh, dear Lord, PLEASE no more broodies!

Move all 22 of them in there and divide up those 96 eggs amongst them.

Today I took the chicks away 2 broodies and booted them back into their respective pens. They are not very happy. That cleared out 2 spaces. I went to close up the Silkie coop and what did I see? BABIES, at least 2. So one of them is hatching now. God only knows when and how many those girls will hatch out. I am not even gonna mess with them.

Well I had too many Icelandics sneaking out of the 'fenced' area on onto the back porch making it all poopy, so I rounded up the pullets.. I only ended up with NINE and rounded up the roos SIXTEEN... I put the roos in with the Ameraucanas and the pullets in with Vindur and his girls.... and surprisingly they all treat the little ones (pullets) so nice! The roos are fending for themselves in the big coop.

Great day today... only got up to 96! It's been one of the best spring/summers we've had since I've lived here.
