At least the dirt isn't hard as a rock when it's wet, right?

Interesting that you would ask, just as I was down in the barn candling them! It's a good news/bad news kind of thing. The bad news is the one marked "tricia" had a detached aircell and blood ring. But the good news is it was fertile! I think it was the refrigerated one. The other three I couldn't see in as well but if I had to guess I would say they are developing too! I should be able to tell by the end of next week for sure.

But hopefully some day....

And please someone post what "Pretty Boy" looks like ?
I guess he is my babies' daddy ?

And thanks all supporting BC Awarness.
We have several BYCers on the WA thread (and OR) some have told us, others want to remain anonymous, that have BC...........so we are all trying to do our best to give them our support, thanks Kathy.

Sorry you lost one Mary, but that's why I wanted to make sure you had 4 eggs. In case some didn't make it, Lukka would still have a couple babies to hatch. And yes, the one marked Trisha was from the fridge.

Jake, I hate digging post holes when the ground is wet! We have nice top soil but clay under it....a sticky mess when wet! Do you have an auger or are you "man handling" it?

Here are some comparison pictures of Anna before and after molt this year. Check out the white in the wings and tail!!!
