They were part of Mahonri's Easter Hatchalong. I love mine and was happy to share the love with you! The one Campine pullet I hatched from your eggs is living happily at a freind's home near here. She loves Scampi! I would have kept her if she didn't lay white eggs like my Icelandics......
The only non-Icelandic I kept from the hatchalong was a barred olive egger pullet from Bhep...she is barred and has a muffs and a beard but no olive eggs......
I like her looks and her beige egg is distinguishable from my NHs so it's all good! No NY hatching for me...I'll have to "participate" through the eggs I sent mbmess2003!
Thank you! Yes I have 3 icelandic hens with two rooster, so i am hatching out 8 of their eggs. I am also hatching out some basque, EE, Welsummer and Dorking eggs.. attempting to at least!
Okay, not the best group shot, but every time I'd take my hand away they'd break for it. Nine babies!
I really like the color of this baby, apparently hiding in the group shot.
And just to prove Heimo (my feather legged roo) had his "hand" in this hatch, two feather legged babies.
You all are terrible enablers, now I'm working on getting some eggs to hatch, not Icelandic though. I have all the breeds running together here so nothing is pure.
