I just wanted everyone to know that I heard from Sigrid today. She and Sveinn attended the show that Johanna refers to in her letters. She took pictures and is trying to post them here. She was having a problem so I referred her to the picture posting tutorial. Hopefully we'll get to see some pictures soon. She said they judged the best rooster and best hen, but that my Fredrika would have beat them all in her bikini! I told Fredrika what Sigrid said, to which she replied, "you walked all the way down here without treats?"

I shot some video today at treat time. You can really see how the Icelandics differ from the other breeds at treat time. The big birds just stay put and eat and the Icelandics are in a constant "grab and dash" mode. They are funny to watch. Isi is so funny with the squeaky sound he makes to alert for treats. He picks up the bread and drops it for his ladies to eat. He never eats until the girls are done. I let the babies out for treats today and he ran right over and showed them how it was done. This was his first time with direct contact with them because they have been in a separate area. He is just amazing.
