Oh, so sorry. If it makes you feel any better, the Pantless Wonder (my 2 year old) gave the 5-yr-old and myself pink eye AGAIN. Nothing says Christmas like a stinky-pinky eye!

PROJECT FREE THE VIKINGS just got one step closer. Yesterday we finished the fencing, which meant we could let Jack and Diana out to roam too. They spent most of yesterday at the far end of our property but returned last night to sleep next to the barn.

They were waiting for me up by the house this morning.

Then they spotted their future pasture mates, those funny little creatures scurrying around without arms. They stood fixated.

The funny little creatures didn't notice as they were otherwise occupied.

When they did notice, guess who made a bee line to the fence to say hello? Yep, Lukka's "baby", Cara-Cara! The others moved away in fear.

Eventually they all got brave and came over for a little meet-n-greet.

That is, until our chow hound, Little Diana got this look on her face. Even I ran back into the house!

Close! 18 when my son was born. Now a 43 year old peace officer and one of the finest human beings on earth. I am so proud of him!
