In the first pic, that hen behind Isi with the blue tail... she is my favorite. I'd love to someday have one that looks like her, I'd incubate every egg she ever laid.

I just can't get a picture to look like it does in person. Honestly, this chick just looks brown.... shades of brown, not red and not black. What looks black in the picture is a deep dark brown. Awww, well, maybe it's just me and my old eyes. I have 2 like this. Do you think it is brown?

ETA:... looks like the chick fuzz is "brown" but the adult feathers look black to me.
