Hello everyone, my name is Lynn, I am from Oklahoma and I was introduced to your forum by KathyinMo!!! I love the forum and I looked up some of the information on the Icelandics and I am truly fascinated with them! I raise Game chickens in the rare varieties and am into preservation of pure breeds of Game chickens, I am interested in getting some of the Key West Gypsies also if anyone has them or know someone willing to help me get a start. Kathy has been very gracious as to help me to get a start of the Icelandics as soon as I have made preparations for them. I am now subscribed to your forum and hope to learn from and soon to be a very active participant in it!!!! Gnite, Lynn

These are gorgeous, are they a work in progress, It looks like the roo has white legs and the hen has yellow? I love Leghorns, would you mind keeping us updated on your progress on these? They are beautiful!!! Lynn

My two little Icelandics are growing quickly. I am darn sure one is a roo. Looks like he has a wide pea comb.

The other (white one with slate legs) looks like its getting a rose comb, with the little protrusion on the back. Is this something that pops up in Icelandics?

but are Icelandics bantam size? My little guys dont seem to be getting as big as the Ancona chick they share the brooder with.

Thanks for all the help!
