Cheryl great colors on those
, and I say the sexing is very accurate, the small pullet does have some interesting feathering, and Andy you have a sharp eye, I think her feathers look like someone was brushing them back against the growth direction, maybe a partial frizzled look coming on, who knows? She might look totally 'normal' in six mos, whatever normal is for Icelandics. I am thinking that Icelandic Normal is whatever it turns out to be, like it or lump it and I am fascinated by them, way better then Forest Gumps box of chocolates !
I am counting the days off til mid april, and then will watch the clock crawl til first part of May, got the totes set up with shavings and chick feeders and waterers, no water or feed yet, screens on top with the lamps ready to plug in, keep going in and checking all to make sure I havent forgotten anything,
got the lumber for the first brooders/pens, checking the drill battery to make sure its up, got the coffee stocked up, waiting, never easy, but thinking good thoughts of Icelandic babies breaking loose and taking over this part of the state !
Spring is going to be FUN!!!
