I cant tell on the black one yet, but one white one is for sure a rooster!

When I candled the icelandic eggs yesterday, and pulled all the yolkers/blood rings and set them aside.

The idea was to cook them up to feed to the chickens, but forgot to pull the blood ringed eggs--and ended up cooking htem all. I also left the shellls in the microwave too long.

My house stiiiiiiinks now.

Hi Mary

You had posted some pics of Lukka before that had her looking much lighter, but these most recent show the blue well, she has a gorgeous pattern.

Now there are six, one very dark chipmunk, slow pipper so I pulled some chips loose that were almost ready to fall off, that seemed to do it, the rest fell apart an hour later, such a little guy compared to the week olds, so there is quite a color range, from the very light 'wheaten' one to the black with white chest and belly, the new little guy is the 4th chipmunk, and darkest,

next lockdown ones are friday. They are staying in the incubator and pulling the turner and hatching in egg cartons. I hope.
