My broody in the bush in front of the house was off the nest just now so I snagged a quick picture.. should hatch in about 10 days.

(ya, I see the feathered shanks - nicely feathered too)

Laree......we have johnson grass here, it's like clover, it sends suckers EVERYWHERE! My garden (except for 2 raised beds that still have stuff growing in them) is now all tilled and ready for planting. So tomorrow I plant and check sprinkler systems.

Oh what beautiful eggs! I know a couple near me who have Icelandic Chickens, young ones. I hope to buy some hatching eggs when they get older. I fear my addiction is going to be bigger than my henhouse.......

I will bet you can't eat the whole box in a month!! You'll still be eating Idaho chocolates when the snow starts to fly again!!

Next time I send you some, I'll get some Idaho Spud bars... I didn't even think about it today... They are made right here in Idaho Falls, have been for 50 years or something like that.. and no, they don't have potatoes in them..

That was one BIG robin !!

More new hatch pics please, looking for some that resemble mine.

My 3 amigo chipmunks are all three looking different now, the littlest chipmunk is different from them ! I may be more curious about them then the others, although the little wheaten and the black with white chest and white wing primaries I think are going to be gorgeous !

85 here today, a week ago it was 34. Works for me.

Kelly the cancer is into the 5th year gone. Should have another 20 or so years if I dont develop bad habits.

Ok.. I admit.. I am getting camera happy.. It's the prettiest day we have had all year.. about 70 degrees and just gorgeous!! (course it's supposed to be cold again starting Monday

Anyway, before the battery died, I got a couple more pictures.. These are a black and a blue orpington, about 8 weeks old.. supposedly both split to lavendar.. Kelly gender? My guess is roo on the blue but I am hoping hen on the black..

Anyone have a comment on how they look? They are supposed to be out of SQ stock but you know how that is sometimes...
