Here are my 3 Icelandic chicks that are 5 days old now.

Jake......Briet is actually really thin, she was preening right before that shot, so she was still puffed up. Here she is showing her body shape:

Ryan.....I'm sure you are aware of 2 boys there, right? That last picture certainly does look like Luna's twin, even has the dark feather in the same spot on the back.

I am heartbroken. I just found my little olive egger pullet dead on the floor of the big coop. It looks like she tried to get up on the big roost and fell or was knocked off and broke her neck. Her head was twisted around backwards. I spoke with Kelly today about my hopes for her then Michael and I watched her running with her friends in the rain while we ate dinner. Now she is gone. I hatched her from an egg from my BCM hen and BA roo. I was so excited to see what color eggs she was going to lay. I can't believe I am such a wreck over a chicken but I am. I am gonna go cry in a hot shower for about an hour. Kelly I am going to need you tomorrow for a session on the phone.
