I think I am going to try to break this broody. I just don't want to go through another round right now. I have eggs due to hatch on Monday. Maybe I could give her those and make it short and sweet! Nah, they are already spoken for.

I have a broody Marans right now, and I love not having the giant incubator going, with all the temp checking & water levels & all the rest...for missing her 1 egg a day, it is worth it to me to have a break!
I have not had my incubators off since lasy November.....

and still more orders coming in.
I have more orders for chicks in Fall & Winter & early spring..cuz there isn't anywhere else to get any!
During late spring when the feed stores have chicks, I sell few.
I just hate running the bators in winter, with all the storms, the power outage alarms, the generator...ARGH!!

Ah..let her have some babies, just a few?
