Hi Sheriff
It is moving forward, holes are dug for the post holes, got the Ark moved yesterday out of the way with its temp goat pen behind to make room for the shed pens,
I bring the material home this week and start it, have a helper lined up for afternoons, hay is coming on sat, and an electrician sometime after wed to put an outside outlet for the shed, water heaters , a light and heat lamp if needed for the Icelandics. Its all moving along, it will be.
Outside temp as I write is 28, 64 inside, I will be doing ongoing winterizing on the cabin as things go along but just eves or rainy weather now. Its warm and comfy here, but, not below zero yet. That will come.
I want to get the shed done, at least the part for the Icelandics as they have been in the ark for 3 weeks now, cozy etc for them but not enough light, as soon as they are in the shed they will have much more light. And when their run is done a 10' by 10' run til snow blocks it off . Then its their shed. Roosts, deep straw, heated water and nest boxes. As I write the roos are taking turns making their morning calls. Life is good.
Some folks are cut out for things , and other folks just have their own specialties, roving reporter isnt kathys specialty it doesnt look like, we shall see, 2 days to go.
Life is good and better with Icelandic Chickens and Packgoats !
