Robin moose in rut or standing on a snow trail are a danger, one stopped the Iditarod race once and attacked two teams and killed several dogs of a friends and smashed the sled up, another musher shot it when he came on, it just didnt want to move out of the trail and attacked the dogs. Scratched both teams out of the race.

Otoh, moose is my very favorite venison, followed by elk.

Daron is there a black roo still back there?

I did not see any black roo, there is another splash roo, and a blue roo with gold hackels, he was just beautiful!

He was the first one that I caught, but he escaped out of the cage.

Hopefully I will get him soon with a pullet and another roo.

Yes, they are in quarantine for 30 days, before I can do any with them, like hatching their eggs and selling the roos that I do not want.

Hillbilly Hen will give me some eggs in time for the NYH, to increase the number of pullets, and will rehome all the roos from her eggs. Can't wait.

I am really enjoying them and can't wait to raise babys.

Well a deal has been reached and my sweet Stuart will be moving to Wilton, CA on Saturday and Matilda, I'll call her Mattie, will be coming home to fall in love and live happily-ever-after with Louis. I got good feedback from the emu thread and decided it was worth it. I'll miss Stu but he'll forget all about us once her gets a look at Flo!
