So help me, I am gonna put Picasso in a pen all alone! He is ALL OVER THE PLACE ! ! ! Today I let EVERYONE out. Most stay with their own little flock. Picasso has to go "test the waters," of every mini-flock. I am beginning to believe he is the ALPHA of my entire chicken world. It is really pretty funny to see those big boys, ie English Orps, Coronation Sussex, and Barred Rocks, run away when they see him approach.
For cryin' out loud, how much sperm can a rooster deposit in one day?
I'm tellin' you, she's a freaking TANK! She's larger (but not as fluffy) as my English Orps. I have to get another picture of her that shows her size well. She's WAY bigger than either of my Marans were.
Sherriff I bet that little partridge colored "pullet" is a male! Seems to me to be showing male color patterns.
I was on another forumn that I keep up with and was looking at a ladys website about her cattle. And low and behold she also has Icese! I contacted her and she said she had lost her last male and was picking a new one up this spring. She got her start from , and I know I am spelling this wrong,Behl or something like that,he was the person who brought the first 11 eggs over she said.! I need to go back to page 1 and get my lineage history down again!
Here are pics I took yesterday between showers!
Here are the new A-Frames I made for my bantams
And here is my Christmas quilt I just finished. All the prints are Christmas themed.
