Yesterday was day 21 for my 25 Icelandic eggs. Only 8 hatched and most of them were very sticky like glue. They did not fluff up when they dried they were so sticky. I lost one baby so now I only have 7 So this just was not a very good hatch. I still have the incubator running with the remaining eggs but I don't think they are doing anything. I will probably pull the plug tonight or in the morning.

So sorry for the disappointing hatch! always tough! But maybe the ones that hatched will be the best of the best!

I got six baby ducks Wednesday from TSC because I was missing my old ducks and they are doing great!I decided to try and talk my mom into it and she said yes.So now I have two Mallards, two Khaki Chambells, and two white Pekins.
Anybody want to send me some Ice chicks to raise?

Hillbilly - sorry about your less than favorable hatch. I hate it when that happens, I feel sooooo guilty.

As for the emu's..............not the sharpest tools in the shed is a MAJOR understatement. They make the box of rocks look smart. But they make up for it in cuteness and their comedy relief!!! Speaking of them, I'm gonna have to schedule a visit to Mary's house!

Re Emus: If you have any you almost HAVE to have 3 just so that you can call them the 3 stooges, Huey, and his brothers Huey and Huey.

So Kathy : When did they hatch???

Jake, Kathy's haven't hatched yet. She was watching someone else's hatch on a live webcam.
