Icelandic Chickens

The good and the bad of snow. It gives you a clear shot of the critters roaming around.

Jack Rabbit:

Then I saw these tracks - guessing raccoon? They completely circled my brooder coop, then cruised by my welsummer coop (outside the fence), then went down along my large coop (outside the fence) and along my garden fence.

Yep, these look like raccoon's tracks!

It has been so warm and humid lately! 80 degrees! IN MARCH!!! I have already had started getting tanned from working outside!

I have set 9 Icelandic eggs in the incubator yesterday. I have dipped them in tylan mixed in water, hopefully the chicks will hatch out clean, please pray that it will work. I have culled all the chicks that I have hatch in the last 3 months today. That is around 40 chicks or so. :(
