It's been a long day but I wanted to pop in and show off my newest addition that flew in from Minneapolis today. She is another Maremma, and will be an awesome companion to Alessandro.

OMG that IS hilarious!!! Joyous are you going to be getting a blood test of some type? :I

Where would I get this, what is it called and how much would it cost.? It will also depend on when I talk to the owner, If he tells me he keeps them strictly separate and they are pure, I would trust him. If he tells me otherwise, I just wouldn't use that rooster for breeding at all, why take a chance.

This is what it says in their catalog " :We are not a wholesale seed company nor are we a large hatchery. We are genetic preservationists that are in this for the genetic diversity of this planet we all call home." and "The farm was originally set up with several goals in mind. First and foremost, it was to be a preservation facility for rare and endangered poultry, livestock and vegetable and fruit crops. Second, it was to be an educational outreach to show what can be done with sustainable organic methods. Third, I wanted to provide a small sanctuary for some of the native plants and animals in the area" so you see they are not the run of the mill hatchery.
