Thanks for the welcome everyone! I will post pictures ASAP. Question though - I know Icelandics look very different, mine do for sure, but do they all have yellow legs?

Ditto what Kathy said! Legs can be yellow, green, slate.......you name it!! Same with combs!

So, I got 5 Icelandics hatched for Easter. I'm not going to post the black ones because you just can't see any detail yet, just fuzzy black puffs.



Later, when I go down to feed the older chicks, I shall take pics of my almost 4 week old - really unusual coloring, but that's an Icee, right!

(I also got 3 Black Copper Marans and one duckling somehow got in there)

Kari....... They come in all different colors, legs and feathers. You will see all kinds of combs, too!

I really hope mine turn out as gorgeous as these - very nice chickens!
