Our average highs the first week of June here are close to 100, so I think we'll survive.... if there is AC on the busses!

So excited for you!!!! I want lots of pictures! Israel is on my Bucket list!
Can't believe it's actually going to happen but DW and I just booked our flights to Tel Aviv.... we'll spend a whirlwind week there touring with 8 other couples... celebrating our 25th Anniversary.

I'm getting excited for the adventure....

Congratulations Mahonri on your trip!

Wish I was going with you I'd show you some places that most tourists never get to see, like Davids first capital of Israel, Hebron ! And where Abraham and Sarah are buried, Machpelah, the Tomb of the Patriarchs, Issac and his wife are buried there, and my namesake Jacob/ aka Yaacov with Leah.

Anyhow, have a wonderful time, you should be right at home with the climate, very much so,

Love the broody pics...

I have a broody running around out back with 8 little chicks...3 Australorps, 3 EES and 2 PW Leghorns. They are darling.

Sounds like a fantastic trip! Hope you have a great time.

Mahonri, totally awesome trip! I would love to see you in the TV show, Locked Up Abroad, for smuggling naked chickens on a plane. I would watch it over and over. Bet your wife would love it! We could have a contest, Guess How Many Years Mahonri Gets! I'm in!

Mary - get some stealth photos with your great telephoto lens - I'm sure it is against the law to possess/pen up Canadian Geese, They are a protected migratory species even tho, they don't bother to migrate anymore.

They love it all over the USA.. Golf courses out here have to hire the "goose patrol," teams of border collies to scare them off. You may think it's nice having a few on five acres. But when goose talk gets out - you will end up with enormous flocks of them. I believe they dump 3 pounds of boo boo every day for every single one of them. They have ruined neighborhood parks, high school runnng tracks, etc.etc. It like walking thru a mine field.

I remember when it started out here as" a pair" that had 9 goslings. We went nuts over them - never saw that in the city.

Your neighbors have some major gall!! Who do they think they are??
Around here they call Canadian Geese "feathered rats" because of the damage the flocks do to parks, corporate building lawns, etc..anywhere there is water. A family is cute..... a flock is a disaster1
