Icelandic Chickens

I hope you are right Kathy. Michael went out on the Polaris and rounded up Stuie and herded him in to the pen. He also got the fly masks off the donkeys. He went around with a flashlight looking for Lukka without any luck. I cannot even imagine losing her. Tomorrrow I will search every inch of this place.

for Lukka!

x2!

What a lousy night I started having. Went to lock up the barn coop and found that Lukka is missing. Haven't had an egg from her in two weeks. Makes me think she squirreled some away in the pasture and she is sitting. I searched everywhere until it got too dark to see. By that time one of the emus had already fallen asleep in the pasture and I couldn't get him in the pen. I woke him up and followed him around. he is in a trance and doesn't even respond. I had to leave him out there and I am worried sick for both him and Lukka. Jack and Diana wouldn't come to the barn either and when I approached them in the dark they ran. They still have there fly masks on from this morning. This is going to be a long night.

Prayers and hugs for you and Lukka ! She will turn up, with more eggs, and add them to the chicks you have of hers now.

I agree with Other Mary - watch Isi, he will out where she is. I guess she wants to make sure you don't take these babies away. You have the added security of the donkeys in her pasture.

Dar - yuck on your weather. Have a wonderful time at the wedding.
