ID on an 8 week old

Looking for an ID on the one in front. Should be pure. Egg came from farm that keeps them separated.

Looks like a Wyandotte mix. Possibly just a mixed color. Those eyes are awfully dark for a Wyandotte though.

I see a modified Pea comb, not a rose comb.

I agree. That does look like a modified pea. Mixed breed it is.

Bought 1 dozen purebred eggs. Farm’s pick. We hatched 1 naked neck, 1 Ancona and this little one. Not a bad hatch after 2 weeks with the post office.

Figures. Every hatch so far, whether I get 1 or 10, I only end up with 1 hen. On that note, anyone looking for a black frizzle silkie cockerel in the Philadelphia area?
