Things I am still looking for are in my siggy. I may change my mind when I get there and start looking around....I have never been to anything like this, but I am sure my shopping gene is going to start twitching as soon as I arrive. So, which thread is the planning thread? I don't breed, but I could help organize stuff.

I'll have olive eggers for sure! Possibly black tail buff marans, but I have to see how my test hatches go. I need to increase my stock. I'll probably bring an assortment of bantam cochin just for fun. (calico/MF projects, mottled black, mottled blue, ect) Black copper marans are on the list, too. I'm sure that somebody will be bringing wheaten marans. I'm not sure about the bantam easter eggers or bantam buff brahma.

Shawn (thebirdguy) last year started a thread for the chickenstock, I bet he'll do the same thing next year for the one in May=) I will be hatching a lot, hopefully by then I'll know what is staying and what is going... but I "should" have extra swedish flower hens and crested cream legbars... There's a chance I will have Isbars, too, we'll see how hatching goes!! I'm going to hatch some wheaten marans, too, but I will probably keep them till they are older before I sell any of them... How exciting!!!!!!

Michelle, any of the blue orpingtons?? I say that now and really don't need anymore, but a lot could happen between now and May, lol!
Yes, I'll probably bring some blue orpington chicks, but to be honest they were such fantastic meat birds for us this year that I'm going to be holding a lot back and growing them out for freezer camp. For some reason, this cross is slow to give me a positive early hint at male/female. Usually, I can expect orp males to grow a large comb really early. They didn't last year so that made it hard to make started orp pullets available. I even guessed wrong on one of them! So, I'll have plenty of blue orp started pullets but they will be older so I'm sure. The cockerals I processed this year were huge and not just all feathers like I thought! My marans are typically the winners, but the orps outgrew them this year so I'll be growing out more of those. True dual purpose!
