I got mine last year from a place by Tremonton.. check on ksl classifieds...Another question for all you SE Idaho folks. Does anyone in the SE Idaho area have ringneck pheasant hatching eggs or chicks they are selling?

I'm kinda trying to avoid shipping. There is a place just north of Boise called Red Legs that has them for a good price, but they have to be shipped.I got mine last year from a place by Tremonton.. check on ksl classifieds...

Congratulations Shawn, how exciting. I hope Porter heals up fast and gets back to his old self soon.I got Porter back out to the barn about one and then ran in to meet the DW for her ultrasound... when I went back out tonight to do the chores, Porter was laying in the same spot in the barn that he was when I left this afternoon... He's alert but definitely not active... not normal for the big guy... I'll probably make a special trip out tomorrow sometime to check on him, give him another penicilin shot and some loving..
for those who caught it... we're having a girl..
Porter is alert and mobile tonight.. He isn't at 100% but did make a partial round of the farm tonight before retiring back into the barn.. So glad he is going to be ok.. He really is the best dog!!
were are you located??? if i can find my charger you can barrow my hand saw then...Always a work in progress still. But mostly done, this was the night they moved out into the coop. My 2 chickens and 2 ducks live in here. Coop is about 4ft by 5ft. Run is 12ftx12ft I have added roosting spots in the coop now as well as a lot of big thick tree trunks from some we took down last summer.
I was curious though... the only thing we are still looking for is a way to cut my vents in... All I have is a little hand saw... I am currently on the look out with all neighbors if anyone has a saw that I can cut a piece of wood out of the middle / sides of my coop to make little vents. Or if there is any I can buy that are under $20.00
