I definitely wouldn't give up on them yet... Eggs have gone through a lot and still hatched. Give them a week and then candle them, I'll bet you'll be pleasantly surprised with how many survive!!Well, I may be looking for eggs again soon. The automatic turner dumped all my eggs. I may have to do the same, my bator is full and some people are sending me eggs this week, too, ACK!! Anyone have an extra bator I can borrow for 3 weeks??I have two incubators that are running without turners. I took them out....not because I was having trouble with them, but because I can stuff waaaaay more eggs in there without them. LOL
The answer is....the same reason that I can have chicks hatching, chicks in the brooders, and young birds in grow out pens and I'm still tempted every time I go into Cal Store and see that they have chicks. As if I need more! Chickens are so addictive. How is it that even tho I will have some chicks hatching on Monday, I still want to come get some of your chicks, Michelle?? Seriously now, sheesh!!
