Feather sexing only works if the parent birds are bred one slow feathering bird to one fast feathering bird. Thankfully, bantam cochins can usually be sexed by 4 weeks of age. The males tend to grow their combs early.

I will just wait a couple more weeks then. We'll be here... you are welcome to come out to the barn and see the girls!! Let me know what you want to hatch and I'll save them for you
I've got 3 extra day old chicks in Freedom if you need a friend. They were just hatched yesterday.Well it looks like the auto turner incident did jolt my eggs too much. The ones that were fertile looked to have quit around that time but....I did get one lonely only. Unfortunately I won't be able to get to Idaho Falls to get her a friend for 2 weeks. Is this going to cause fighting issues waiting that long?
My 4 year old is adamant that it's a girl and her name is Star
Her mirror friend
Me getting pecked and poked
Star is ready for her close up
And I just couldn't help but take a cute little Easter pic of my little Easter Egger
That would be awesome. PMing you...I've got 3 extra day old chicks in Freedom if you need a friend. They were just hatched yesterday.
