Idaho?

Robbo, I was wondering the same thing about paint. It should be exterior, at least on the outside. I was considering using my excess paints to paint the inside. It would be nice to do the outside too though since we already have more than enough paint. Its just that it is interior.

So painting the interior would be okay? It would be painted weeks before anyone moved into it.

That would be fun! I did a wall of my room a bright orange and that is what I have left over... a lot of it, lol.

Another question... Do these apply when you are not in City Limits(https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/boise-idaho-chicken-ordinance)? Boise address but we don't live in Boise or surrounding areas. We are in county. I can't find anything on county. Our neighborhood has no ordinances or rules... almost everyone owns Hens AND Roosters... that is why I was wondering. I don't want a rooster or anything... just was curious if it ever gets brought up to me that I new our laws/ordinance's... but I guess I don't when all I can find is Boise's and we are county...?

I want some marans and welsummers also, and I want more orpingtons, but in other colors then the buff, they are just the sweetest things! How many chickens are you up to now?
I have a cuckoo Maran rooster that is 4 months old if you want him. The neighbor's are starting to complain about the noise from the adult rooster I have and I decided I am not messing with roosters until I have more space.

I dont know anymore than you do, Robbo! Its funny about the orange. I have a can of orange that I will NEVER use for anything in the house. Along with a can of light purple. Maybe a can of grass green. And some misc leftovers. I am thinking they might make an interesting interior.

No the Boise City rules do not apply to those who are not within it's limits, isn't that great?! We live in Ada county as well, just outside of Meridian city limits, surrounded by a neighborhood that is in the Meridian City limits with the exception of us, love it!

Thank you for the offer! We are a hens only operation! I know I said I want, but want isn't need so we are waiting another year probably before we add more hens to our flock! I sure could be tempted into breeding and hatching one day!

Yep, same here. Ada County and we live in surrounding neighbors of Boise and Meridian but our little neighborhood is by its self in little ol' Ada, lol. So does Ada have any restrictions that you know of?

I don't know what they are, I've tried finding them, but I am not having any luck. I'm sure there are some restrictions, however in my neighborhood no one really cares as long as things don't get to out of hand.
