Idaho?

there was someone who was saying they missed out on the Marans at Chickenstock because she showed up late to chickenstock but I can't remember her username, she was either on this thread or the Utah thread.
I would speak up for some but I am full up on chickens right now (I have more than my coup currently holds...at least I will have when the babies get older that are currently in the brooder box).

I've gotten a few PM for black coppers. That's what most folks want. Splash are nice for guaranteeing blue babies when making olive eggers, though. I'm hoping for a pullet to put in my ameraucana pen.

Yes, it's fun watching them get all their pretty feathers and get out of that awkward stage.

So...I read a couple threads that said flock grower crumbles are fine for chicks, and the feed store here does have that in the non-medicated variety so that's what I got. Bonus that it's a big bag instead of the stupid 5 pound bags of medicated chick starter.

They're going nuts for it

I think I will do that for my chicks too, their systems are not liking the electrolyte water and the medicated chick feed, maybe the non medicated crumbles will be better for them and I am going to start just giving them plain water.
