I love your horse IdaArchae he sounds awesome.I have been in dog rescue (Moonsong Malamute Rescue) for 12 years. You can't fix stupid. All you can do is try to get the dogs away and into a better situation so they don't keep going after livestock. As much as I love dogs, I also am not opposed to shooting one that goes after horses or other livestock, including my little cluck clucks! Luckily, I have an anti canine device on guard in the pasture 24-7, and my chickens share that space. My Pryor Mountain Mustang hate dogs. I had to put up a sign "Dog Owners, If Your Dog Roams Here, It WILL BE STOMPED FLAT!" We fence to keep dogs out, but once in a while one digs in. The last one left a lot faster than he arrived, and he didn't visit again. He thought it would be fun to chase my old Appy girl. He didn't figure on Paladin. I came out to see what was what when I heard the high pitched whistle alert that Pal uses. I stepped outside in time to see Sissy breathing hard at the other end of the paddock, and this dog running for it's life from a really ****** off black 'stang! My dogs stay away, they know better. He has rapped a couple on the head for sticking there stupid faces through the cattle panels.
