Idaho?

I certainly have that many. There are a lot of birds in there. I don't know what I'll have after this weekend, of course. I'm running a special. "Rainbow Pullet Assortment" which is three pullets for 35.00. One brown egg layer, one blue egg layer, and one green egg layer. (out of my project/assorted layer and olive egger pullet pen) If anybody from the Boise area makes an appointment to pick up pullets I'll ask if they want to give some additional birds a ride. I don't have anyone scheduled to travel from there on my current list, though.
Oh shoot. I think you just talked me into some olive eggers. What if I did 3 blues, 2 BCMs and 2 olive eggers? I might be able to talk my son into driving me over there from Garden Valley, but he's going to be down in Boise through Thursday.

Maybe I should just ask what your assortment of brown layers are and do the rainbow pullet asst?

The assorted brown egg layers are mostly black tail buff marans out of my G-1 pen that have slate legs instead of white or BTB pullets that hatched out striped instead of golden yellow out of my G-2 pen. I have photos of the egg color I'm getting from my early hatch 2013 BTB pullets (G-1 pen) on my webpage. Not as dark as BCM but a very respectable marans egg color for this variety.

FOR SALE:

Gizmo, my black crested White Polish. Very Sweet, very much holds her own with the big girls...but she likes to yell every time she sees me and won't stop. Even when I am right there petting her she yells. She lays an egg most every day. 6 a week. Early day layer. She is so talkative, but a little bit more than what i need with 2 roosters crowing day and night.

Anybody want her? She is going on KSL today.

Anytime for the most part. I have to haul hay this Sunday.....and I have to leave the farm to get food every once in awhile...(I'm sooooo not a shopper. LOL). As long as an appointment is scheduled it's all good.

Squeaky McMurdo---remember your baby Moxie that I sent home for you at chickenstock? Her twin that I kept, is a boy. Dang. He looked way more boyish though than your pics. So now be sure to tell me what color egg you get, I am excited to find out :) I have two more from that batch of chicks, but one is white and one is a lighter orange. Hoping they lay nice eggs, but they are not as sweet as the one that looked like Moxie. :/

and mo5c.....just checking in on your mom's frizzle, it still looking like a girl? I hope so! I posted some pics awhile back of mine, so far nobody has said it looks boyish so I hope that is good omen.

Would Thursday work? Pick out your sweetest sweets for me... I've got lots of kids and boy do they love to love on the chickens! I assume it would be around 3 or so before we would get over there, but that's just an estimate. Thanks!

I feel the same way :) Really good disposition too. Has yours started laying yet? I think I have another month or so on mine :) Her name is Pisketti lol

Not yet, I've never had anytype of marans til this year and I hear it can sometimes take up til they are 30 weeks old to start laying. She is about 16 weeks old I believe so about half way there.

That lil barnie and EE/silkie cross I got from you turned out to be both boys. Darn the luck :-(
