Idaho?

Hock feathers are called vulture hocks.  Vulture hocks are feathers growing from the hock. 


I have one of those! I actually picked her out, because they looked so cute. I was told beforehand by the breeder that it was not proper...but loved it so much I had to have her. Cutesie!

That first one is one fluffy butt! Love it!
It's a big butt too, like a foot or more across. He is as big as a turkey. Haven't weighed him yet but, I picked him up today and I bet he is over 10lbs at 6 mos old. Not the normal sized Brahma for sure. I will have to take a video of them. The way they walk is hilarious.
 
Living the dream in Hayden (Garwood), Northern Idaho. Bought 5 wooded acres last year. Hubby got bored last winter and decided to build a chicken coop. So we got our first chicks this last spring. All 6 are now laying. I LOVE MY CHICKENS!!! Soooo much fun!!
