Idaho?

Coturnix Quail are not considered a game bird, so you don't have to have any special permits or licensing. Just the same as you do with chickens.
if you read it also state that as long as you can prove you purchased any fowl you dont need permits. or lawfully obtained,

well he did it... he started crowing the dummy. He can't keep his mouth shut. I'm kinda sad cause he's so sweet. Our BO is no longer a chick, he's a roo and nw have to either put him in a pot or find him a home. Just to decide which... I don't know how to process chickens so I gotta find smeone to do it or find him a home. THAT means I am now down to 3 pullets none of which are laying dag nabbit.

Have you considered getting an anti-crow collar for him? The folks in the Utah thread were talking about them. I don't know if they work or not.
