Michelle... I would love to be able to take some of those extra pullets off your hands.... but I wouldn't be able to do it until later this summer... We're expanding the pen at my mom's, so it won't be until after that.. so I'll PM you again when the time comes and hopefully you'll still have some then?!?!?!?

BTW... THANK YOU for letting Lisa pick those up for me... I've seen a couple pics... beautiful birds!! (I won't get them from her until July)

Yes, feel free to check back with me on the pullets. Lisa will take very good care of your birds for you until you can pick them up. Her babies are very spoiled and happy. :)

Oh man I should have grabbed a few more of those pullets :) I will be coming back through there on the 8th of July, will mull it over, and check back with you. It was great to meet you, and THANK you for these birds. I am so excited for those first eggs! And these Olive eggers are so far along, it won't be long at all! Yay!

Daloorashens, I will be up there on the 15 th for sure, it is set. Will get back with you on a good time to meet.

Okay Idaho people.. time to get this thread going!!1 Those silly UT people are getting chickens from each other, gifting roosters (lol) and all kinds of stuff.. And I'm willing to bet there's quite a few of us that have awesome birds (ahem birdguy and pawtraitart=)... We could be doing some awesome networking!!

Yes, where are all the Idaho people? LOL

It was great meeting you, La Casa de Pollo. You are welcome back anytime.

Anybody have something to trade? I love trading. I traded two pullets for a couple of fresh salmon this year! :)

My friend got an olive egger hen from Michelle about 4 weeks ago. Today my silkie hen hatched out all 3 olive eggs she has been sitting on!

I'd tried to candle them about day 11 and couldn't see through the shells. So I really didn't know whether they were developing or not.

They're all more black. The middle one is a lighter kind of off black but not as brown as the flash washed it out to appear.

(Edited to add: These chicks are the result of the salmon trade! LOL)

Can you tell now if they'll be blue? I thought maybe the one that looks brownish would be blue since it's not black/black.

I bet the salmon was good. Fresh as it comes!
